Recipe for success?
permalink

first a little background info..

well, i order from alternativegarden.com, and when i ordered my system, they sent the wrong brand of nutes.. Oh, well.. I took em anyways so I could get started.. A while back, while placing an order, I complained.. (really, it took me this long to notice that I was SUPPOSED to get the other brand..) anyhow they sent me a freebie pack w/ BC Grow nutes, Thrive Alive (red and green), rootech, and awesome blossom.. for free.

kick ass, right? well the following was included, listed as a recipe for success.. just wanted some input on it (and it might even help someone else..)

Cutting stage:

Pre-soad the medium (soil, peat pellets, rockwool cubes, etc.) with a solution of Thrive Alive B1 Red. Immerse the cutting into Rootech Coloning Gel for a few seconds and then insert into medium.

Cloning Formula -
DIP each cutting: Rootech Cloning Gel
MIX per litre of water: 3ml Thrive Alive B1 Red

During the next seven days, while the cutting develop roots, pray the foliage with Thrive Alive B1 Green

Foliar Spray -
MIX per litre of water: 3ml Thrive Alive B1 Green

Vegetative Stage:

Once the cuttings have established root systems, they are ready to begin vegetative growth on an 18-hr light cycle. A low PPM solution of BC Boost, BC Grow and Thrive Alive B1 Red is reccomended during the first weeks of vegetative growth to protect the plants from shock.

Vegetative Formula 1 -
MIX per litre of water: (PPM = 700) 4ml BC Boost
2ml BC Grow
3md Thrive Alive B1 Red

A couple of weeks into the vegetative growth stage, promote vigorous root, stem and shoot growth with a stronger PPM solution of BC Boost, BC Grow and Thrive Alive B1 Red.

Vegetative Formula 2 -
MIX per litre of water: (PPM = 1225) 7ml BC Boost
3.5 ml BC Grow
2ml Thrive Alive B1 Red

Throughout the vegetative stage, spray the plants weekly with a fine mist of Thrive Alive B1 Green; plants respond quickly to nutrients that are applied directly to the photosynthetic area of the plant. For best results, spray the foliage in the dark to prevent leaf burn.

Foliar Spray - Same as above

Flowering Stage:

On a 12-hour light cycle, plants begin to flower. Use BC Boost and BC Bloom throughout this stage to promote rapid, healthy flowering.

Week 1 and 2
Thrive Alive B1 Red is recommended during the first two weeks of flowering to protect the plants from shock related to changes in the light cycle.

Flowering Formula 1 -
MIX per litre of water: (PPM = 1450) 6ml BC Boost
6ml BC Bloom
2ml Thrive Alive B1 Red

Week 3 and 4
Once the flowers are well established, add Aweome Blossoms to achieve maximum flowering density.

Flowering Formula 2 -
MIX per litre of water: (PPM = 1650) 6ml BC Boost
6ml BC Bloom
2ml Awesome Blossoms
1ml Thrive Alive B1 Red

Week 5, 6, and 7
Increase the PPM of the solution in the later stages of flowering, when healthy plants wil be able to absorb higher concentrations of nutrients.

Flowering Formula 3 -
MIX per litre of water: (PPM = 1900) 7ml BC Boost
7ml BC Bloom
2ml Awesome Blossoms
1ml Thrive Alive B1 Red

Week 8

In the last week of flower, it is very important to flush the stored nutrients out of the plants by feeding them only water. When the plants use all of their stored nutrients, harvest quality will be improved, noticably through better flavour and aroma. Providing large volumes of fresh water to the root system is he preferred method to flush the plants, (that's why it rains in autumn), it is not necessary to use any specialagents. If using a system with a reservoir, empty the reservoir and refill with fresh water daily.
