![]() | Hi all, Let me give you some background. I transferred my seedlings form a SWC 65W fluorex scenario to my cab about 6 days ago. The were sitting in 400PPM Lucas formula GH nutes with a solution temp of around 70-74F I had some bad burn and crispy leaves in the beginning and initially rectified that by increasing the RH to what tends to be 38-54%. I also topped up the res to the brim with RO water. That spawned new growth and seemed happy for a day or two. I raised my light to cool off the kids a bit as my temps were running between 86-92F Now I am experiencing serious drooping and another round of burn. A couple of hours ago, I brought the res down to 4.5 Gallons and replaced the remaining 3 Gallons with pH adjusted RO water. The roots look white and hairy but the leaves are not happy. Below are links to the attachments in my journal. If you'd like to follow my woes, you can click on my journal link in my signature. Thanks in advance for your help - I'm a newbie so this is all par for the course but it would be great if I didn't kill everyone completely ![]() And thanks also to those who have offered advice so far: - Agent86 - tobi - MrHydro - justawannabe and anyone I forgot... Cheers... here are the pix. Plant One Plant Two Plant Three Plant Four Plant Five P.S. The burn on the lower leaves is from the first time around - its the stuff in the newer growth that I'm worried about. Thanks again.

If you have a fresh supply of clones, it would be more productive to start again, if not, run pH adjusted (5.8-6.0) water until you have healthy new growth. Keep the extra hunmidity efforts up too, and remove any fans that are directly on the plants. San ![]() | ||

![]() | Hey San, Thanks for the input. I'm afraid these are seedlings - I have yet to have a mother for clones. So I'd love to be able to save them although it seems like a more unlikely prospect evey time I open the cabinet doors ![]() The enivironment seems to be somewhat stable now but they may be too far along. The TDS is at 285PPM today but I think as a final attempt, I may take your advice and replace completely with water. I'm going to test my tap water and see if that might be an option. It's pretty hard so it may be to high on the PPM - if so I'll go buy more RO and give it a shot. Things aren't looking good and after all that money and time spent on the cab and bubbler.Ah well, I suppose I'll figure it out. Cheers...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Might be best to keep them in a propergator until they're a bit bigger in future The high humidity, protective environment will help em bulk up a bit and handle the low humidity a bit better before chucking them under the hids. remove the lid often to replace the air, and for longer periods as they get near the time for the system.
