OK I will be on my second official system. The first being a NFT gutter system...and I am now finishing up building a new Modified Waterfarm System.

Then on to my official second grow.

However in the meantime I have also set up and used 2 Ebb and Flow Tables for clones and mothers. I used 2 5-gallon Waterfarm Buckets for my last 2 mothers to flower in. And I use a 5 gallon DWC that has spots for 3 3" baskets for flowering smaller plants.

So I have experimented with 4 systems plus a new one soon.

All this and in reality I have only had one long grow all White Widow with 2 NL that went by the roadside.

So knowing I am obsessive and compulsive and morally screwed up... I thought I would see if I am so different or not.

Are you on your first or tenth grow with the system your using today?

So the poll is "How many grows have you completed with the system you are using now?".

I too use an e&f system & harvest each month. 5 grows on the line or in jars, 2 grows going 'til we remodel the grow room; I'll be using the same system after the remodel.

I use multiple systems, often simultaneously, in a perpetual grow, usually harvesting every two weeks and running continuously for years. So that's hundreds of harvests per system, but with multiple systems. I didn't see a poll option that covered that.

And since this seems to be about hydro systems in particular rather than growing indoors generally, thread moved to Hydroponics.

I read the question differently. I use one system, from start to finish and have used it several times. But, like penguin says, the mode of growing changes. I start clones in ebb n' flow. Then veg in 5 gallon DWC buckets and flower in 20 gallon reservoirs. I thought that went in the one system answer but I could have been wrong to do that. DLA, which did you mean?

Interesting poll. Thanks.

All the best,
Lollie

well. I'm riding two freshly built systems on their maiden voyage. And hopefully I'll be pulling harvests from them for at least a year or two. But after that, I'll probably be packin' up and tryin' something new

Well really I was thinking indoor...it just went all hydro...I wanted to hear from soil growers to. We know there are lots of different system in soil too.

Did all of you that have been using the same system for years experiment a lot before finding what you liked or did you hit a home run the first time.

Is the system your using for this long the original or has it evolved from what you started with?

What systems did you try before finding the system your using, and what was wrong/right with those systems?

Any info is good.

Now that's just too many questions.

Yes, there are different systems in soil but that would give you a ton of information. Are you considering going back to soil? If you really want this changed to indoor just pm me or another moderator.

I went through several different systems before I found what I liked.

Quote:

It has evolved. I tried one thing, didn't like that about it so I tried something else.

Quote:

That's too much information. I started with an ebb n' flow (now using it for rooting clones), 3x3 table (like bluecheese's), 5 gallon bubblers (now using for vegetative growth), 20 gallon bubblers (now using for flowering).
As far as what went wrong/right, there were positives and negatives for all the systems. Part of it was deciding what type of plants I wanted to grow, single colas or trees or anything in between.
