Hello!

I am now for the second time going to try my aeroflo system, this time hopefully successful.

The set-up:

100x100cm grow tent
System: A GHE aeroflo-10.
Light: veg-250mh, blom-600hps in coolshade.

Pic of the aeroflo:

the hygrometer is showing 32c and 25rh in the sun where the plants are.

Res temp 26c at the most.
PH 5,5-5,8
EC 0,74
Using canna vega + some hesi root complex and a tiny dose of h2o2.

Roots looks a little brownish?

Ask me any ting and i vill answer you.

peace out!

May the brownish roots be an effect of a to high res temp perhaps? I'm considering buying a cooler that could bring the temp down to around 18-19 Celsius. But is it worth it? A cooler to fix it will cost around 450 Euro...

Peace out!

Welcome to the Garden froody!

26c is about 79f and definitely runs the risk of root pythium. I felt that 24c (75f) was too high for my reservoirs & am putting chillers on each of them and will keep them around 19c (66f).

Also at cooler temps the water holds more dissolved oxygen than at warmer temps.

Thanks guys! I will receive a chiller in a week or so. Meantime i will try to keep the res temp down whit some frozen soda bottles.

The only worries i have is that the roots already are getting kinda, brown... That's just wot happened to my previous grow, and i haven't had any idea of why... Probably they also died from a to high res temp?.... Here are some pics from the previous plants.

As you can see they are all looking good except the one to the right at the top. After that one, one after one just, started to hang, as if they whore over watered or didn't get any water at all, then dried out and died???...

Here´s the roots from one of that plants, they turned from WHITE into that colour in about 2-3 days, and i had not made ANY changes in the nute-solution... PH, EC was good, temp in the growroom was good... yeye heres them roots: PS this root-system belongs to a plant which still did look healthy when the picture was taken, but it startet to hang and died maybe 2-3 days after...

Over and out!

Hello! Its time for an uppdate.

I´ve been running everything as before, except now whit a EC on 0,54 and PH 5,9 to be a little softer to the roots.

Here´s some pics om them now, as you can see there are 3-4 diferent strains, some of them came from really week mothers, but they are getting better...

Happy growing!

Hi!

Yes, the temp is now pending from 22 to 24,5c (71,6-76,1-f). But hopefully in next week i will receive a chiller that will be able to bring the temp down to 18c (64,4-f)... I hope they will do ok in till then...

Whats that hygrozyme? I´m currently using "hesi root complex" but that's maybe not the same thing? Well going to check it out however, thanks!
