HI , I'm just starting out using the wilma - 4 pot system and im also using these Ionic Hydroponi Nutrientsc . Ionic Grow (NPK: 5-2-6) nutrient is designed to maximise potential for vigorous vegetative growth. Application rate: 4 teaspoons per gallon Ionic Bloom (NPK: 4-5-8) nutrient is loaded with the crucial elements that support heavy flowering and should be used once flower buds are established. Application rate: 4 teaspoons per gallon Ionic Boost is a supplement designed to promote heavy flowering and should be used in conjunction with Ionic Bloom. Ionic Boost is specially formulated to deliver the key elements, Phosphorous and Potassium in a pure form that is easily accessible to the plant. Initiate feeding at the start of flower bud formation through the flowering stage. Application rate: 3/4 teaspoon per gallon i will be flushing out and changing over to a 12 hour cycle in 1 more day . what i cannot figure out is do i keep giving my plants the grow Ionic hydroponi nutrientsc , & also start adding the Ionic Bloom at the same time . the boost say to use bloom and boost but don't say if i should use the grow in conjunction with them all . it may seem a lil noobish , but i don't want to burn them out with to much nutrients !! .water = 30 lts medium = clay pebbles thanks for any help or info .Grow More . | ||

Less is always better it also depends on your strain you are growing to see how much nutes to use but just use a low amount feel the plant out n the plant will let you know when it needs more. later good luck Moe

I'm a firm believer of tuck, don't pluck. Your plants need those leaves late in flowering for fuel.

![]() | thanks . i do take the yellow leafs off , but these are mainly very small and are also lower down the trunks or on the shoot branches that grow out were the leafy branches are growing from . but iv its not needed ! i will leave it , as i have read many threads that problems start from doing unnecessary things .as you have probably worked out by this threads name ? this is my first time growing and i am finding it very exiting .i also think its much more complicated than i thought it was going to be ! . but time , good advice and help is definitely helping me along the way !! thanks to all . i got this fare from just reading this site but the flowering nutrient mixing was just a bit to hard to figure out and i needed to post .so in 10 days i will flush again ! and will be adding the next nutrient mix to the water , BOOST , looking at the schedule aperture posted , i just do a 50 - 50 mix of Bloom and BOOST in the nutrient tank ? . i cannot wait to see my first blooms .im not expecting eye-popping blooms ! just to get some will be cool lol . thanks again !

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | These are most likely fungus gnats. They lay eggs in the soil. Try covering the soil and that will help some. You can spray them with a mix of tabasco sauce and water or get some Safer products. Make sure they are fungus gnats first. Take a pic if you can. I am just guessing by description so a positive ID is a must when treating insects. Fungus gnats are harmful to smaller plants when they suck on the exposed roots or crown of the plant. To a mature plant they aren't to harmful. Good Luck and try to get a pic up. It will be good to figure that out anyway so if you run into any more problems you can post pics quickly to get some good old garden's cure expert advice!! Good Luck! Peace, EMj
