transplanting from soil to DWC

Yeah i said it. I need to put my soil pants that are in plastic cups into a DWC system. could I just put them in and let the soil fall off or... should I try to wash the roots to get the soil off? Yeah... I do not want to kill my plants. Obi-wan... your my only hope

Do it all the time son.

I start in jiffy pellets, then when the roots outgrow em I dip them in a bowl of water and just keep dippin and assisting in gettin rid of the dirt. Little dirt in the rez aint the end of the world, but washin it off dont hurt neither. omg where did that accent come from?

OverGrowJbo has grown tall and bushy.OverGrowJbo has grown tall and bushy.

I seen a colleague of mine get a clone in soil.

He used 1 part (3%h2o2) 1 part (H2O) and 30ml of B-52 in a 3gal pail.

Then he very gently he swished the roots about in the pail for untell the roots where mostly soil free.

Then we put in in a DWC system.

There was no noticeable sign of transplant stress/shock.

Just one way I have seen it done.

Me I would just take a cut of it and have roots on it in 5-7 days.
