I was told that to calibrate the Hanna Meter for EC you use the 1413ppm solution and set the EC to 1.4. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks, CT

| The most common hanna ppm testing solution I can find is 1382. With this chart you can calibrate pretty close. I think you should email hanna with the meter number and get a definite answer. I've lost crops because of wacked out meters. Might not be a bad idea to back up whatever you decide to do with some drops or strips. | which meter do you have? on a 98129 pen, 1.0 is the highest conversion factor you can dial in. are you trying to hack a ppm meter to read in EC by dicking with the calibration? the 98129 is designed to be calibrated with 1413ppm solution for reading in ec. but its displayed in that weird 0-3999 scale. 1382 {HI 7032} is used to calibrate the pen at .5 converstion factor, 1500 {HI 70442} is used for calibration at .7 conversion factor.
