Now that I have some botanicare hydro gear and an ez cloner, I will clean it after every crop/rotation of clones.

When I first started doing DWC (and actually being halfway successful for a time) I never cleaned my buckets. Just rinsed them when I was done and on with the next crop. Now that my living/growing space is infested with spores and the like, this approach wouldn't work for me today.

Why is your living/growing space infested with spores and the like? Is this directly related to you not fully cleaning your gear between crops? I have had my E&F table system for 4 weeks and have already scrubbed down the system twice. Just looking to learn...

I think its just from not being able to get everything 100% clean. I have to do upkeep very often or things go awry. Thats why I switched to soil for a few.

My grow room is a tent inside of my bedroom in my apartment.

It sucks. Hard to keep air clean.

Flushing out salts,cleaning your system

I have a 12 pot ebb and grow setup and I flush every time I use the system for a crop,I also scrub out the ezcloner 30 between cuttings with both I use diluted bleach. You just have to rinse or back fill with clean water, works like a charm never had fungus in both systems.

I clean after every harvest but. if I were harvesting perpetually I'd probably only clean my trays every 6 months or a year... Although I'd clean my ez cloner out once a month... Unless there was a problem or excessive algae buildup I'm beginning to feel that scrubbing everything perfectly clean is overrated. once you have a healthy bacteria balance, scrubbing it again only serves to throw it all outta whack. Now this is just a theory... But its been developed after many times of unsuccessful bleaching and subsequent root rot problems. Now I dont use bleach, and have half the problems figure that?

It might be this new bio-green clean stuff i've been using, Maybe not

Anyway i love the stuff, beats bleach by far - try it out Bio Green Clean | Natural Cleaners | Non-toxic Cleaners | Stain and Odor Remover | Pet Odor Remover

I have read so many people having problems with slime in there ezcloner. I have used bleach between every crop of cuttings...no slime...just %100 rooting, the best purchase I have made except the hydro kit setup.........
