![]() ![]() ![]() | i would like to add that CalMag+, PK 13/14, and a bottle of epsom salt (5ml/gallon) is a great thing to have in your arsenal if your growing strains you've never grown before or dont know too much about just for G.P. cause you never know when you might need it...then again if your using the flora series i know they are pretty rich in calcium and magnesium so some strains you wont need CalMag+ at all. | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I like IRB. I'm training myself out of the word HEMPY. Hempy is used to grow illegal marijuana in my area. IRB or internal reservoir bucket is the same thing as those self-watering flower planters Wal-mart has. Fairly stable, easy as can be, and cheap. one thing, though- on my next IRB I'm gonna try straight hydroton. Perlite is a PITA in my apartment, and hydroton I can just pick up if it spills. Anyone have thoughts on straight hydroton, no perlite? Oh, and instead of buying Cal-Mag, I use milk. Throw about 1 cup per gallon in when you need to.

As far as hempy is concerned, it's freakin sweet! Simple, fast, great results...what more could you ask for? Some jack and the beanstalk seeds...hell yeah! So far I've done a few soil grows, they're slower and I'd get some overwatering symptoms and fungus gnats, but good results. The hempy is more carefree and most importantly, faster. I've done 2 hempy grows now and would never go back to soil unless outside of course. I've had a drip hydro setup waiting to be used but I'm worried that it will be too much of a PITA. What do you think? Should I go ahead and give the drip system a whirl or stick with the hempy. I've got 2 seeds waiting to pop in moist paper towels.
