Does any one have any information on these that they could share with me? Possibly a link to some information? A journal? Anything? Thanks. Here is a link to the Rotogro web site for those of you who dont know what I am talking about. Untitled Document

Imho, I think they are overpriced...... ![]() Xjo ![]()

Also, I would worry about the motor driving the wheel to quit. As I understand it, a vertical doesn't spin- I'd worry about the Roto-Gro becoming a Roto-No and then where would you be? But if you do find out someone who has one let us know? They are interesting to say the least.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have researched these heavily in the past because a FOAF was selling two for very cheap. I think he wanted $2400 for two of the big boys. I have come to the conclusion that you need to use a strain that hardly stretches at all on top of using a growth limiter like bushmaster or phosphoload. This will keep everything at the right distance. The lower buds get damaged/tainted due to nutrients running down from the rockwool block when the plant is upside down. The running nutes can also go all the way down the plant onto the cool tube, inhibiting its effectiveness. I heard of one guy that didn't have this problem because he watered them very little every day manually. He had to check them very often. He still had salt buildup problems, too. You will rarely see well balanced plants coming from these babies. The dial-in time could be incredible. Looking at the pics from FMB, those don't look dialed in at all. I wouldn't be very satisfied with those results, but thats just me. ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've seen them running demos at several (3) different garden shops. They each ended up in the back storage room waiting to be returned to the wholesaler. And really...you'd rather have plants taking up the space those things hog up than something seriously over priced and unreliable.
