I knocked of a small bud about 10 days ago and put it plain water it started to show roots on day 5-6? the roots are going great but because it was so small and it needs to go into the bubbler i have used the top off a 2ltr plastic bottle inverted it and sat the clone in it with the roots just touching the water and added 3ml of ionic grow nutes to 4 ltrs of rain water.can any one see a problem with my set up?

![]() | Looks healthy, Stevethewire. If the leaves look healthy and normal, that's a big gauge for me. I'd be a bit afraid to touch and mess with the roots too much though, afraid I'd damage them. The hardest part, I'm finding, about hydro is just leaving it alone to do its thing! ![]() Rapunzel

![]() | I know the feeling just cannot help having a look sometimes 6 or 10 times a day the roots at this stage are very fragile but as they older then they get a lot stonger if you go to my other thread "home made set up " have a look at the roots on my other plant.this is the trouble when you are a house husband?

![]() | ![]() LOL!! I know what your are talking about! I'm afraid my husband will start to think I've gone a bit soft! All I seem to research, think and talk about are my grows!!! He rolled his eyes this morning when I told him I'd come up with an idea as I lay my head down to sleep last night! My idea was to plant some of the seeds I've just received from HS for the purpose of making more seeds. Then I'd have plenty of seeds in case I mess up the first couple of hydro grows. My outdoor grows do quite well, but with winter coming on, it's got to be indoors. And I am too impatient to wait until spring. Here's my indoor: http://www.hempcultivation.com/420/s...6998#post86643 Good thing he's interested in the science of it all, since he's not a frequent smoker. I'm the pothead! Plus it helps my back! No really!Keep us posted! Rapunzel

![]() | Looks good to me. I clone tiny peices all the time and have never really had a problem. The only difference is that I have my light on 24/7. Being on 12/12 I would think the clone would continue to flower? Don't you want this clone to go into a vegitation state right now? HomeDepot is closing out their green(175W) MH work lights right now for about 1/3 the regular price. I picked one of them up to use just for my clones and it works great. Then when their big enough you just move them to your current flowering room. That way you could be flowering constantly. Just a few thoughts I thought might help you ![]() al6
