What kinda medium you growing in? Wool or lava or... ? Sounds like you have a mini ebb and flo system...Its all dependent on the medium your using. If your using RW blocks try keeping it short a couple times a day when they're small. If your using geolite lava you can do 1/2 hr flood times a few times a day. Try to get a feel for when the plants need water and increase the amount of flood cycles accordingly.
Watering cycles should happen during the light cycle (18hrs veg/12hrs flowr). The nutrient solution should be kept at about 6.3 to 6.5ph. The solution concentration should be kept somewhat dilute (600-800ppm)when plants are young and concentration increased(800-1200ppm) as the plants mature. You will get a feel for it as you go. Try to keep the reservoir fresh every two to three weeks and you'll be o.k. Enjoy ...PEACE -Sketchy
