| i am going to start growing hydroponicly my question is about rockwool my partner in crime seems to think that you cant over water rockwool is this true and if not can you tell me how much to use and for how long we have 400 watt high pressure sodium light the plants are in a basin that could hold about 4 or 5 gallons and we are starting with 4 plants | ||

| Yes, you can over water rockwool.Are you using loose wool in pots or blocks? Is this an ebb and flo or drip system? Rule of thumb...less is better until you get a feel for how much the plants need. In general rockwool only requires short watering times a couple or more times a cycle. It also depends on plant size (the bigger they get the more often they need watering).
