| scenario: kitty litter pan for reservoir, slab of rockwool for medium, 4x4 rockwool cube w/ rooted plant in rockwool slab. the slab is elevated about an inch off the bottom of the reservoir to allow travel of the roots.. My question: do the roots traveling around the bottom of the reservoir need to be wet? if the reservoir dries out but the rockwool medium is still moist do i still need to fill the reservoir? this isnt a drip system (yet..) just a fill up and wait til it dries out type thing.. any replies appreciated. -kushBhydro | ||
