i have never grown hydro or even tried. if i was to try, what is rockwool and can u get it from a nearbye gardening store? what else would u need for hydroponics?

Rockwool is a growing medium that holds your plants so that the roots grow through to the spreader matt, what you need to start really depends on what method you adapt such as flood and drain, nft, i know these abbreviations sound daunting but after a couple of hours reading it really is straight forward,what it is best to do is have a look at the getting started guide then pick which system suits your envoiroment then post about the system you pick. Sorry if this dose'nt sound helpfull but its what i done when i first came on here.
