![]() | Ok....I'm new at this stuff. ![]() Where can I get some of the chemicals (Pro-TeKt, etc.)? What are nutes? How can measure ppm? Can I just measure the pH with some pH paper, or would that contaminate the water? What/where can i buy that has p,k, or n? and what about the other elements? (calcium, etc.)? Well, these things are just on my mind, and I appreciate any help given. Thanks alot!

![]() | Nutes are nutrients (N,P,K, and trace nutrients). You can buy nutrient solutions at home depot, or most gardening stores in your area, and they'll say on the box whether they contain trace nutrients along with the ussual NPK. It's not necessary to calculate ppm, but if you have your heart set on the perfect mix I found this site: http://www.hbci.com/~wenonah/hydro/makhydro.htm The top left box. Litmus paper is a good way of measureing pH, it won't mess up the solution. | ||
