Algea Eliminator...
permalink

just wondering if that stuff that you use in fish tanks to rid yourself of that pesky algea (that can get on your roots on coat the resevoir) can also be used while growing Mj. It seems like it would be alright. I mean, you use the stuff with live fish and underwater plants, so it seems it would be ok with MJ. Im currently using h2o2 to deal /w algea, and its working reasonably well. I still occasionally see some brownish orange material on the roots on my babies every once and a while.. seems like the algea remover crap would do the trick!

any thought?

The only difference there is, You don't injest those fish, and plants. May not make a difference, but it's something to think about.
What % H202, do you use?. On occasion I use 35%, @3ml/gal, that'll knock out any funk, that's trying to get a foothold. My $.02.

P.S.- What's in this stuff you mention.

I've been using a product called Hydroguard and it is working good for me. Only downside is that you can't use H2O2 with it otherwise it would kill the beneficial microbes. But I rarely add H2O2 anymore and roots are all healthy and there isn't a funky smell from the root zone either.
