![]() | I too am planning a DWC setup. From what I have read the way to do this is as follows: Start your seeds or clones in rockwool cubes, you can use the type with a hole pre-drilled for starting plants. These can be started with the "wick method" type of hydro setup, low light till they take root and a hood if you're doing clones. Once the seedlings are "ready for prime time" you stick the little rockwool cube in the netpot, using the grorocks (or whatever you're putting in there) to fill in the rest of the space. This is far superior when compared to transferring from soil because the shock, if any, to the plants is minimal. Also, I noted that you say you have drilled 3 holes in the pot, increase this exponentially; make that sucka look like swiss cheeze ![]() Good luck

![]() | I have my DWC system all set to go, im just waiting on my somewhat reliable contact for some Blueberry seeds. Here are my tips: 1) ONE PUMP PER BUCKET. I made the mistake of getting one for three buckets and running it through a gang valve... big mistake. You get little to no air. 2) NUTES SHOULD TAKE UP 33 PERCENT OF THE SOLUTION. If you have a 3-gal bucket and are reading the paper from overgrow, ignore this. But if you have a 5 gal or other bucket than ignore those instructions. Do the math to figure out how much nutes you need to put in. 1.65gal of nuted solution for a 5 gal bucket. I dont know if that top that you made will hold the plant. Other than that it seems like you'll be all set. Watch for my grow diary as soon as my contact comes through. GOOD LUCK!!!
