OK...Went and bought a $80.00 PH meter from a hydro store on the other side of the state. No not cause i wanted to drive that far but cause it was the closest one. The problem is that once I got to the place I was so nervous about the place being run by Po Po's that I quickly bought everything i thought I needed. Well I get home 3 hours later and realize that i have nothing to calibrate the PH meter with. The guy who sold it to me said it should be calibrated already but I soon realized that in order for it to be accurate a month or two from now I need some solutions which are exactly the PH that it says they are. So does anyone know how I can get some solutions to test it with short of driving back to the store? Or any way to be 100% sure it is calibrated???

![]() | Doesnt anyone know of anything else that can be used to calibrate ph? There has got to be some things out there that can be bought at a drug store or grocery store that could be used for the same purpose...

![]() ![]() | Hey McFry..... If you bought an $80 meter it must be a decent one. I'd protect your investment and try and get some calibration solution via ebay or a hydro store mail order. Why subject that sensative meter to someones homemaid soup? Also if you are in the states and buy distilled water from Wally-mart, I've found it to be 5.2
