I've had the Nutra-drip tri-meter for about a year now. I took the summer months off and just started back up again. I calibrated the tri-meter and i'm not sure if it is broken or not. I calibrated it to 800ppm and then calibrated it to 1500ppm. Then, to check (since i'm anal) i tried the 800 again and it was about 250ppm off. Is that normal or is my tri-meter broken. I've heard that some people have had bad experiences with them also. Anybody have any suggestions?

maybe it just needs to be cleaned, or possibly u need a new electrode, they dont last forever u know

call the shop where u bought it and ask about any problems they may have heard about it, maybe they know somthing.

I have one and am very happy with it, altho it does seem to need to be calibrated more often than the manual says... my .02 ....Kindbuddy

Hello,

I also have one of the three way meters. I ended up calling the mfg. and he had me get a piece of cardboard and insert it into the electrode slot and "clean" the electrode with the cardboard. I then soaked it in some h2O2 and it calibrated and everything has been okay.

Like the others have said, first he asked me how old the pen was. He really wanted to tell me to get another electrode.
