I burned my WW's last week After giving them a 48 hr flush, I brought the nutes up to 250ppm. The plants look fine, and are going through 1.5 - 2 gls of water a day. But the ppm doesn't decrease until I add more tap water. Ph is around 6 and buds look good for 40 days of growth. But why aren't these girls drinking up their nutes. Is this what nute lock is, and will it eventually run its course? Hope I'm in the right forum for this. Peace.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Say mhung, When the plants don't take nutes is an indicator that they need to be flushed. Since you flushed already answer me a q or two...When you flushed did you monitor the PPM? You should flush untill the PPM quits rising in the res. You should also (in the case of burn recovery) change the flush water several times untill the PPM quits rising. I did a burn recovery once and it took the best part of a week to clean 'em out.(around 4-5 days) Under regular circumstances I found in my sys that I'll go about 10 days before plants stop takin' nutes...then a 24 hour flush gets 'em ready for more nutes. OP PS-Think I'll send ya over to Hydroponics, OP

Now where's that post from deviant?.... This Post has an excellent rundown of reservoir management in relation to EC/CF/PPM. In this example, they're working with CF, but you'll get the idea.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks ya'll. Just to add a few more details, the ppm have not risen, just aren't falling. When plants were at 700ppm they were doing fine, until I burned them. Gave em a nice flush, and started nutes off at 250 ppm. They are sitting around 160 ppm right now, but thats because of the added water. Course everything looks fine, no leaves drooping, buds keep fattening, roots are in order. Maybe the burn was a little bad and they are just taking a while before eating again. BTW, during the flush the ppm dropped from 88 to 59. I'll go ahead and ride this one out, see what they do. Thanks for the post C-town, and sorry about the transplant OP, glad to get some help. Peace. P.S. That info from deviant really helped. I had no clue you should back off on the nutes around the 6th week. My girls are currently 41 days into flower, so maybe that has something to do with it. Thanks again.
