Newbie question about nutrients
permalink

This will be my first hyrdroponic grow. I have a 10 gallon res with two pot holes and net baskets.

I am interested in using Advanced Nutrients products. Can anyone recommend a good combination of some of their nutrients for a new hydroponic grower.

Thanks

By checking the web site for advanced you should be able to learn plenty!

For info only...not posted for sale purposes...Advanced Nutrients

I use GH nutes because the ease at which they can be employed. Even their bloom boosters are safe and easy to use. Easy is the way for me.

Try doing a search here on the site for advanced. There should be plenty of info here too.

Good growing friend.

I wouldn't recomend AN for a newbie, the range is mindboggling for most, and requires a higher skill level IMO.

Canna or GH would be much easier for a noob IMO

Ionic are the easiest nutrients there are and give great results. I've moved on to GH now but Ionic were excellent when i started and was trying to figure out everything else about hydro.

Ionic is the way to go when you first start 1 part nutes take the hassle out of your learning curve & god knows I had one hell of a battle with my first grow

But the nutes worked

Yep"like san said"(I've not said that in ages......it's like the good old days)stay WELL clear of AN it's really not for newbs. To be honest from what I can tell so far if you run anything less than a very dialed in grow(see daily attention with a known enviroment and strain).....forget it.Your yield will be worse with AN than an easier to use nute like Ionic which will stay within range if left for a couple of days.
Start simple and work up,besides how would you know if it's worth the money if you've tried nothing else?
All the best,
dev
