Question What watering method to use?
permalink

Can anyone suggest an irrigation system or other watering method for this type of setup. Now that the mesh is down, watering the back plants out of a can is going to become difficult.

You can have a look at some more pictures here.

Helo there,

He he he that is not a hydroponic setup so you're offtopic posting here but Im not a moderator so Ill try and help you.

You have 2 options that are easy and readily achievable given what you have there.

i. handwater the plants

ii. get yourself a 10 or 20 gallon tank, some tube and a pump and make a dripper system. Drip at 2 Fl Oz or 53ml per hour.

iii make an ebb'n'flo setup with two hoses, one hose at 2 inches in height as an overflow and another almost flush with the tray you are using. Irrigate them for 15min every 4 hours. Both ghoses come from the tank underneath up to the tray above.

just some ideas,
