heres a great chart that shows how different PPM can be from meter to meter... EC is the only real universal language...  | ||

| LOL... EC is the standard on which ALL ppm measurements are calculated. Some PPMS are calculated different than others. EC is just universal, the Electrical Conductivity of your res mix. Of course, it measures ALL nutes together, so its to be taken with a grain of "salt"  Generally used to adjust the initial mix of your res, and watch the overall nute fluctuation. | ||

| Thanks Drummerboy!!! This is a most helpful tool and I feel comfortable knowing that when I go to 2.4 EC that I'm only at 1200-1600 ppms... No wonder I've been seeing defs at a lower EC... I'm running strong from now on!! Thanks again... this budz for you!
