I was just curious as to how many computer fans I can run per channel on my fan controller. It is the 3 fan controller pictured above and is rated at around 13 watts per channel. The comp fans I am using are close to 1.5 watts each.
So does that mean I can have 8 fans hooked up per channel without any problems?

Yea that's true, but you probably will never need 24 fans hooked up.

But if you do want 24, then yes it's safe

I have to ask, is there a specific way these things are wired up? Series or parallel? On mine when I hooked 2 fans to one channel it worked good for about 45 min then the channel fried and no longer works. They were wired parallel.
