 | Well I had some time to have a good look at my plants today. I am 5 weeks into my grow, and have been on 12/12 for 3 days. I have 4 confirmed bubble gum females, 1 armageddon female, and 1 male of each. I have a couple of armageddons that look like they may go male, but not 100% sure. I have used nana's since week 2-3ish. 5 confirmed females 2 confirmed males 3 TBD Not to shabby thus far!

| Very interesting concept so I am on board with it. Thanks bluecheese for showing me the link to this thread and it came at the perfect time. I placed a banana under each of my 19 plants at 21 days from germination. Here's a pic,  | ||

| Okay, so these are my results: 2 males out of 2 plants so 100% males. 1 Banana per plant from day 0. I have to say that they were stressed a lot around 2 weeks old though: my wife let them dry out... Happy to hear that it worked for some of you... | ||

| All 10 of my plants are sexed, drum roll please, I have 7 females! I was shooting for 6, so I am very pleased with the results. I will continue to use the nanas in/with future grows. Good luck to all those still growing.

| Congrats Buckeye! I'm glad they worked for you. I've never gotten males, but I know now it is possible - all the bananas do is raise the chances of getting a female. I'd really hoped they would be more of an influence.

Bad news (for me) gang, 4 out of 5 males. To add insult to injury, remember "the tall cowboy on the right" that I predicted was a male? Yup, it turned out to be the only female. Glad it was just bagseed. To be honest, I will try them again, the way I look at it, even if I used 30 bananas over the course of 2 or 3 grows, and it only influenced one plant to be female instead of male, that would pay for the cost of those bananas 10 times over. Going to drop some Nebula and Texada Timewarp in water tonight, hopefully I used up my bad luck on this bagseed , and maybe this grow will be predominately female. Wish me luck.
