and by "used bananas" you mean what exactly? I believe various methods of the religion have been tested with varying results; knowing your experiment would help the study of what we're discussing here, please share! I believe the beauty of the religion is that it only goes to improve an already ideal condition... It's not an over dose... it's not an extensively intricate method... it's just a religion of faith and luck and hospitality to your ladies. Just like a human female... if you treat her right and put a banana in her bed she puts out. Another beauty is that it may be wrong, altogether.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just had about four apples and a couple bananas in the grow room from week 3-4 and I had one plant get badly damaged like broke in half, and ended up being male (makes me wondr) so it could have potentially be 50/50 ratio. One thing I did notice is that ethylene is said to cause leaf abscission and when I introduced bananas one plant started having leaf abscission and ended up being a beautiful healthy female.

cause, while I was reading your first post I was wondering the same thing and then I saw the second post. Since I'm a person that reads every single post in the threads that I'm subscribed (including this one) I noticed that the same Q's are been asked over & over in this thread. And you're right, people are too lazy to read This thread its not just about Bananas, much more info and speculations its been posted here, and like Mrs, Blue said, this thread is on for a long time. We even debated the chance of plants herming cause the bananas. It's one very interesting & informative thread, if the many give it a chance and read it from the beginning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | DID YOU FIND, THE NEW RELIGION, OF A BANNANA IN YOUR POT? IT MAKES YOUR PLANT A WOMAN, WHEN IT BEGINS TO ROT. THE THEORY IS THE ETHYLENE, GIVES A, HORMONAL RUSH; THE CO2, INVOLVED IN THE PROCESS, GIVES LEAF AND FLOWERS A PUSH. THE POTTASIUM, IN THE FRUIT, PENETRATES THE ROOTS. MICRO ELEMENTS, IN THE SKIN, GIVES COLOUR TO THE SHOOTS. THE DEVOTEES GET ROUND THE TIKI LOUNGE, BANNANAS STICKING OUT THEIR EARS. IGNORING THE CHEMICAL CULT'S DERISION, JOKES, RIDICULE AND JEERS. DOES IT REALLY MATTER, HOW YOU, SUPPLY YOUR LOVED PLANTS NEEDS? WHEN WE ALL PRACTICE A RELIGION, CALLED 'GROWING REAL NICE WEEDS'. LOL nigel [go for it people, faith is a more powerful fertilizer than anything Monsato manufactures] | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Green bananas are ripening, so they're gassing off ethelyne. But I prefer to put slightly riper bananas under my plants as I'm guessing (yes just guessing) that the green bananas put off less ethelyene.
