![]() | I am currently working on a mini-fridge flower chamber(weren't you lookin for somethin like this ButterflyDreams?) I currently have no pics of it but i hope to post some this week. All i have done so far is: 1. gut out the metal freezer tray and cooling lines 2. gut out the compressor equipment on the back(WARNING:if you have no experience with a/c equipment (or the like) you should not attempt to do so.) including the thermostat and wiring. 3. i put in some of the cheap mylar-like sheeting(the coleman emergency blankets....$3.99 a piece.... )4. installed my base for my 70 watt HPS, although i need to reinstal it because i don't think the current mounting is safe. 5. bought equipment to remote wire ballast for HPS 6. measured space in bottom and the space under the back(you'll understand when i get pictures) for container sizes. OK, i'm going to attempt at a flower chamber for 2 clones(maybe a third). I want to experiment with either an Aeroponic setup with a remote res. tank or a Shallow Water Culture with remote res. tank(opinions are welcome). I am looking into getting a 100 or 150 watt HPS to replace or accompany my current 70 watt, but heat might be an issue. I only have one vent fan(fan from old computer), but i will be buying more(probly 3). The fan is not yet installed. I would like to enclose the top area for the lights but i'm not sure what kind of glass to use or where to get it (i'm sure it will have to be custom cut). So far I am happy with how it it going, although i would like to have more time to work on it. My associate already gave me a compliment and said "It looks very professional" so my ego has been stroked . I will hopefully have a few pics tommorrow night for you guys(and gals ). Any and all questions or comments are welcome. peace.bonsai

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Interesting. How are you running your venting? Out the back? I'm interested in seeing the pictures. I'm following most of the procedures you outlined, but pictures always make it more clear. I'm assuming that your comment about enclosing the top area means you're thinking of separating the light from the grow area using glass- am I right? Kind of like C.C.'s closet?

![]() | High Phread, First of all, thanks for droppin by. The venting: I plan on making my own "mini-ducts" for the back of the fridge. I want to use a total of 4 fans if i can separate the light from the growth area( Yes, with glass) . I would like to use 2 fans for each area of the chamber, this way i can regulate airflow in both areas. The exhaust from the vents will come out the back of the fridge, travel down the ducts along the back and exhaust onto my ballast on the bottom of the back for efficient use of the exhaust. I tried to take pictures real quickly before i left the house tonight but they came out so bad I can't see anything in them(I'll get some good ones tomorrow) One cool thing i forgot to mention is that i can easily scrog in it if i want to by using the stock wire shelves for the fridge(they are perfect). There will also be enough room in the door of the fridge to mount my circulation fan. The only thing i'm really waiting on is my drill from my friend and a hole saw, but it may take a week to get it from him . For the most part Phread, it will look something like C.C.'s cabinet , but my Aero stuff won't get put in/built right away(i have to put my girl in there ASAP and she is in soil in full flower). I hope to get those new pics taken and put up soon for you. peace.bonsai

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You're mounting the HPS off to one side? Any reason in particular for that? As a suggestion, I'd get some spray adhesive, and line the interior with it, then stick the mylar blankets to it. That'll help take some of the wrinkles and noise outta there... Lookin' forward to more picts!

![]() | High Phread, As far as the mounting.... there was no real reason for it, but i was thinking about buying another 70 watter and mounting it on the other side. I also figurd that in such a small area, as long as there is efficient reflection inside, that mounting would not play a major role. I f you feel otherwise, please let me know. I was thinking about using spray adhesive, but didn't start with it for a couple reasons: 1. current positions of things(including the mylar) may change 2. to be able to clean the walls behind mylar(in case of mold or build up of contaminants 3. i wasn't sure if the adhesive may have toxic effects in an enclosure(for the plants. personally i love spray adhesive(being from an automotive mechinical background...i used to use the he!! out of the stuff )Today i picked up my hole-saw for the vent holes and hope to finnish today, although i lack the funds for the other 3 fans and for the glass. I will try and make a negative exhaust effect and see how the tempature is in there before using it. If i have ime i will post pics as i go, but i'm kinda in a rush with it(it's my day off and i have other things to do) again, thanks for stoppin by and i hope you will continue to, as this is my first attempt at making something of this nature. I am a bit of a perfectionist so it will probly always be a work in progress. til then ...peace. bonsai
