![]() | ok... i just figured out how much a crabon filter will set me back, and i decided i can only afford one. damn those things are expenssive. all the ones i have found have been around $260.00! how well do these things work? i'll be growing 10 plants at a time tops. No more then 5 flowering at a time. Does anyone have an suggestions for oder control? I don't want to use something like perfume. That would probably make the buds taste like... I heard you can put a dryer softener sheet over the exhaust fans. Now i think i will just use soften sheets, and put some baking soda trays down in the rooms. How much would this help? I'm starting to think a crabon filter is over kill for only 10 plants... Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

A light trap is just a means of air getting in/out, but not light. A ducting wye should do it. You won't need fans for the intake, just vents. I grew 4 NL, the loft stank, and when drying, (about 7oz,) it could be smelt outside my front door. Getting arrested for cultivation is overkill. If you haven't got the money, it's a problem and you'll have to make do. Maybe an ozone gen will do, (search before asking how to make one.)

![]() | i'm not sure about an onzone generator. i've read alot about them, and they sound pretty risky. i don't want to have to die in order to grow the plants. http://www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/ozonegen...zone%20harmful ... makes ozone generators sounds pretty dangerous. any thoughts?

![]() | You do want a carbon scrubber. Anything else is accepting second best (for you, that is.) I'm working with similar space to you, and am going to try drying (in drawers) in the veg room, so the drying odour goes through the scrubber. How about forgetting the MH for a grow or two to get the scrubber? I've got the same lighting as you want (except the MH) and I got 7oz from my 1st harvest. Build it with the impeller fan for ventillation, and save for the filter while they are growing. Lots of newbie Qs like "How do I get max yield?" Three months later they're panicking about odour control.
