Your major problem will be root spacing. The plants will compete for the space, and one of them will dominate over the other one, and you will be left with two stunted plants. It is possible, but I don't you know why you would want to in the first place. If you're gonna grow weed, at least do it with some respect for the girls

i have two girls both 2-3 weeks old in the same pot right now i germinated then planted one but after a week i thought it died cause nothing ever showed i even tried to dig the seed back out but couldnt find it
i ended up just putting another germinated seed down in the pot but not in the same place i put the first one... just in case
after the second seed sprouted the first one also came up (about a day later)
i was afraid to move either of them so now i have 2 different strands growing together in the pot luckily they are doing good right now and both so far are showing as girls...
the pot is rather large and i am hoping they will continue to do well
they actually seem to enjoy the others company
so i pray

I have 2 WW's that were just plucked today and YES they were in the same pot. They both shared a 11 GAL pot! It looks like I will harvest 5-7 Ozzes. So yes, one can do quite well with one pot and two plants. Just tie things back if they get in each-others face as did mine and keep things lit, watered, and fertilized(organic) on timely intervals. After seeing many pictures on here I'd say I came out just the same and better compared to many.....whom claim sharing pots is so, so terrible. For those whom want pictures, they are soon on the way in the harvest room. Good luck "Rock" and don't let people freak you out here....many seem way paranoid. Just keep your eyes peeled as to what works in nature and that will keep your complications and worries minimal. I read in the MJ Cultivation Bible by Jorge Servantes that MJ plants will prosper well in 3-GAL, minimum, per plant, though I lean to 4-5-GAL per plant. I think your 12x12x20 pot falls quite short of this requirement. How about 18x18x30!? I think you would be very happy with your harvest if you could get closer to those dimensions.

His pot can only be like about 5 gallons max right? Which would probably make him rootbound around 2 1/2 weeks into flowering? Hell of a chance to take. I agree with you beaver that if you grow one plant in a five gallon bucket, in theory you should be able to grow two in a ten gallon bucket. But i think why the pros dont do it is so that if one plant has a problem, you can adress it as an individual. So You dont have to give the same "prescription" to all plants if only one is sick. PEACE

I tend to forget about disease and other potential probs, considering my growing medium is in a closet. I have grown so many things indoors (except MJ, this is my first), even carnivorious plants and have had only one prob and that was a powerdery mildew on a apple tree seedling. I can see the practicality of keeping things seperated for the simple reason of "just in case." Especially if one is growing outside. I personally think problems will be very minimal, if any, if one grows indoors, maintains a constant environment, and they know their plants needs. So I would only recommend multiple plants in the same pot if the above are met.

I was seriously considering using a 50 or 60 gallon tub for my next grow. Seems like it would be neater. No making a mess from transplanting. But I would be taking a big gamble. Im weighing the pros and cons of it seeings i have about 6 weeks left.
