Does having THC metabolites in your system even mean that you are high? No! Maybe two weeks ago. Cocaine metabolites also won't show up until after your buzz wears off (assuming you're not continuously high...)

I think their strongest evidence in this will come from the target themselves - unaware of their rights and current jeopardy, people become their own worst enemy - their own words and actions betray them more than any 'investigation' ever yields.

"voluntary" doesn't necessarily have all of the necessary connotations. First any denial to take one of these test is at best a revocation of your licence, and at worse an admission of guilt.

Secondly, denying this sort of test, or a blood or urine test can be grounds to search your vehicle.

On a side note; I just heard of these swabs they are giving cops. They just wipe it on your clothes or dashboard, or whatever, and it detects numerous drugs.

Things are getting worse . . not better.

There are so many ways around this.
1.) If i was in a car accident or pulled over my blood pressure would rise very highly
2.) i was just swimming in a chlorinated pool , my eyes are red.
3.) I've been skating all day and i hurt my ankle , i cant walk right.
4.) if they ask to take any samples out of me i want a warrent , which i'm sure they wont go through all that trouble just to catch some stoner minding his buisness.

this is nothing new...i got a dui for herb in like 99 or '00...and it was that goddamn stupidass DRE that helped to get me...


here's the way it works in the real world...you get pulled over and the cop smells herb so he pulls you outta the car and does some tests on you (follow my pencil with your eyes kinda shit)...the cop doesn't know what the fuck he's doing testing you but he knows you've been smoking so he just arrests you for suspicion of dui right then and there...you're in the back of the car...

at the station you meet stupidass DRE piggy who does a series of retarded follow my pencil, look at this light in a pitch dark room, open your mouth tests which really don't tell em shit at all unless you're on crack or pcp or something - but you could easily be suffering a migrane or the flu as well!! so then the DRE certifies you as doped up and yer dui is official...

the point is this....the stupid pigs just charge you with the shit...guilty or not - you're charged....so unless you have the loot for a lawyer yer gonna plead it down just to get out of it...if you have a lawyer and get out of it oh well, the cops will just try again later...

also - many states HAVE laws that state if you refuse to pee for a drug dui its the same as refusing to blow for an alcohol dui - automatic loss of licensce (sp?) for a year...

on the other side of it many states do not have a mandatory suspension of liscence (sp? ) for drug dui's when their is a month minimum for alcohol...

well, in my case it would have been a year...many other states as well i would imagine...

the ammount of $ i would have lost not being able to drive for a year pales in comparison to the $ spent and pain in the ass that comes with getting a first duii....

in some cases, you get busted - yer busted....stand up (or bend over) and take it like a man....
