I had a long post all typed out, but decided it was TMI.

The answer is yes. Sitting, I have no balance problems. And I'm probably a better driver than most as I ONLY focus on the road. I put in a CD before I leave (never change CDs while driving) and anything I need I can put my hands on without looking (like soft drink, cigs, lighter). I have a cordless headset for my cell phone - all I hafta do is punch it to answer or make a call.

But I don't like to drive (used to love it) and I put less than 2,000 miles a year on my car & I live 30 miles from "town". I just wait 'til hubby comes home and let him chauffer me around.

Oh - clear the roads tomorrow - I'm driving to my dr.'s appt in town!

I'm sure I could sit down at home, smoke a bowl of hash, go driving, get in a wreck and still pass their silly exams. Once again its all about NOT SMOKING AND DRIVING at the same time.
