| yeah on the stove seems scary, if i ever did it on a stove, i would use one of those camping ones that runs off propane outside. So if i did blow it up, least the house is still there, i might not be so well, would rather not burn anything down. Fire scares me.

| Butane extractions require tons of ventilation and most of the detailed instruction guides indicate this should never be attempted indoors. These fools probably tried to rush the evaporation stove top or some other irrational methods. The police say it was a hash lab. A single extraction done the wrong way does not equal a hash lab. Maybe when the firefighters were going through the contents of the house after the fire they determined the blaze was started by some fool making hash oil. Was being in possesion at the same time give the cops the right to declare it was a lab? Need more info.
