As with tobacco regulation, alcholhol regulation works.
So why do our Federal "experts" shun the thought of regulating Cannabis?
Because admiting they were wrong all along would be such a media circus.......
I'm still surprised the Monitoring the Future report has even made an iota of difference in Washington mindset.
But then again, the whole LEO/corrections is big business and still growing, and profitable......
And it would actually make sense. Any more questions?

I don't much care what kids do. The argument of regulation being a perk to prevent teen MJ usage is right up there with the medical usage argument.

Burdening with statistics the fact, that g-d tax payers are sitting in the privacy of their home under threat of being raided for minding their own g-d business is counterproductive to simply putting a foot down to the fact that g-d tax payers are sitting in the privacy of their own home under threat of being raided.

The people in the way of this culture respond to two things...temptation, and force.

I didn't read the article yet but how does Tobacco regulation work? Yes it is "regulated" but it is quite accessible to minors. Also it rapes the consumers that smoke (unless you buy them duty-free) and they are passing legislation which is causing smokers problems finding a suitable place to smoke. While I want to see marijuana legalized and have the law similar to tobacco I wouldn't say that the regulation of tobacco is a success.
