![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | kind of cool... but a shift lite for economy? come on now this is a sports car. one with a teeny weeny toyota engine at that. you could take every elise on the planet off the road and have zero impact on a damn thing. the cars fun to drive, not a commuter. a go kart with seat belts really. cool idea, but at the same time kind of absurd. but then again, absurd is how lotus rolls. remember Lotus = Loads Of Trouble Usually Serious.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | its not innovative its hype. gas mileage on a car that didnt even have a roof until last yet? its a freaking club racer! not a commuter car. go drive one and tell me youd spend enough time in it to worry about fuel economy. poop. let us not forget subaru and bmw have ZERO landfill plants. not 60% landfill free. leave it up to the brits to do nothing and then brag about it. fuck lotus. i spent years restoring, repairing and racing british crap. never again. if its not an esprit its not worth it ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | well it's not a full on Lotus but the chassis was developed by them, pretty much an exact copy of the Elise Tesla Motors all electric 0-60 in 3.9 "256mpg equivalent" depending on how you drive you get up to 220 miles on a charge. thats damn good for an all electric. that would take a hella lot of people on their daily journeys like kawgomoo said about the real Lotus this is not very practical, but damn it's cool and i agree about the Esprit, to bad they ran out of the Renault 25 transaxle T_C

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | duno if anyone clicked on that link i had, but they even mention this tesla roadster. basically how this lotus, a 2 seater w/ little room, can go upwards of 200 miles on 1 charge. and the karma (designed by former head bmw lead designer) fits 4, and "hauls at least of couple of golf bags" and is designed for a 50 mi range on 1 charge. you dont put gas into the karma, unlike the lotus. and the lotus is pretty ugly inside, and out, and pretty small as well. wouldnt wana go 200 miles in that thing.
