![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Great read! Im pushin hard for it, cause as soon as Cali does it and it goes well, the other medical states will follow suit quickly and then shortly other states will fill in behind 'em. I truly believe that legalization/tax and regulation would definitely weed out the underground cartels...We need only to look at the Netherlands. I read somewhere they have a weed quality law. Somethin about if you possess under a certain grade of pot then you get in trouble..If they did that sort of thing here it would totally wipe out the schwag industry, which is where most of the underground cartels function. Granted there are some that will move into the good pot area and try to fly under the radar...but if theyre not paying taxes and fees, take em out. Although I do agree that even with that, will still come some sort of criminal action. You will have people who will try to skim the taxes and youll have shops that buy from non registered growers to save a few bux or something like that. And within that some cartels may still be able to function, but even that would only be the strongest ones. I think it would still greatly reduce the number of cartels functioning within the weed world. You know though, your gonna get the argument, "well theyre just gonna move on to the harder drugs if they cant deal in pot". Newsflash....They already are!! You think these guys are out here only doing one thing. "Shyah...Right"(Waynes World) Now you will have all that money you were spending on the marijuana end of the drug war, and all the rediculous mj arrests, to focus on the other aspects of your "drug war"... ![]() sorry.... ![]()
