| Hey everyone, I am new here but I just had to reply to this post after reading the article! It is full of hilarious myths and mistakes! First, they said that marijuana has a street value of $3000/lb and the plants weighed well over that (best part ->)with all the stalks and leaves!  i could see someone paying $3000/lb for stalks and leaves! Bwahahaha!Next, they say that these grow operations pose a threat to the local drinking water because growers OFTEN use chemicals and harsh pesticides to tend to their crops! Again, I must because I think they got marijuana growers confused with tobacco farmers! Oh well, sucks that so much crop was stolen from someone, but like they said...these types of grows are EVERYWHERE! And it took them what...24hrs just to round up all the plants on that one bust? Awesome...tied all those resources up for a good solid day!  Good waste of taxpayers dollars, eh? | ||

| UGH great.. Another bust here! This state has been SO DRY for the last while. One cannabis bust after another...

| I say YEAH good job! These kind of outrageous Mexican Mafia grows have no place in America. 30k plants? Are you kidding me..I'm sure they rip the crap out of the landscape to get them in and leave all their waste behind at the end. That's not good. All of them seem to have weapons...semi auto hardware etc. Nice...guns in the forest...  And so what if they do or don't catch the guys growing it...they're illegal aliens being used as slaves.!!!! This kind of crap brings waay too much attention to other US Born outdoor growers. Before you know it all the copters will be back

| their not the only ones with heavy artillery and a vested interest in national parks, and 9-10 mexican grows they find food and such where the ppl had been living there.... what there not saying is whether they were male and female, or all female. its just all one big waste... PEACE

Not that I want anyone caught for growing but how sad are the cops "they've been investigating for two months" and can not catch one person? And to top it off can't even catch one lowly watchman? "The person or persons responsible for the marijuana farm is still not known. Authorities said that a person keeping watch on the plants ran off when officers swarmed in Friday morning." Just plain sad. I wonder what the two month "operation" and clean up cost? DD | ||

| they never seem to catch the growers.. I'm sure they're on edge and ready to bail any time. Imagine being next to 30 thousand plants for over 5 months..you'd be real nervous knowing if caught you'd be spending a good chunk of your life in prison tossin salads for some crazed murderer
