Island which island do you live on?

I've heard of Texada island being
hit by helicopters in the past.

Home of Texada Timewarp. Never been
up to Powell river myself but would
love to go up there and check it out.

Really I think as long as youre not
growing a large amount in one area outdoors they don't
really consider it a priority, if they notice it
at all.

deserve to get caught; weeds out the stupidity in the mj grower gene pool.

Police love to harvest at harvest time?

Maybe the neat square crops are their grows, and they are disguising the harvest as a raid? lol nigel

Question; If one of these LEO's involved in this sorbid operation falls out of one of the choppers and dies from his injuries will the govt try and get a homicide conviction on the grower? They do this with arsonists, so if one of the leos sustains a critical injury in the course of him doing his cop job. Can they extend the liabilty of their operations onto the people they are going after?

Swordfish. In Canada for Canadians who don't deal with Americans.. we don't have drug enforcement agency. We only have the Royal Canadian Mounted police.

I've only ever heard of one instance where police were killed in attempting
to shut down a grow op in Alberta. Four mounties were killed by the grower who
then shot himself. He was obviously whacked out. At the time
many Canadians including former officers spoke out in the media against the follies
of prohibition and the unnecessary risks it poses to law enforcement officials.

Senate members themselves stated it wouldn't have happened if it were legal.

Short answer..we Canadians tend to blame the policy not the growers or the police.

drug-laws-spark-drug-wars

In Western Canada this is a common issue for the media.

Here is the article I was talking about by an veteran cop from winnipeg
after the Alberta incident.

Nigel that's funny stuff They deserve to get caught for growing
those amounts in one spot. That's for sure. Pretty hard to grow 300-1000 plants
in different areas. I'm sure there aer many large scale squarely sown
plantations being harvested regardless, a lot more than leo could ever
confiscate.

They admit they barely scratch the surface. Those are just
the grows closest to civilization.
