| When sales drop 2 billion percent maybe they will change their minds? Ive been to amsterdam before and seen more tourists than anything. I gaurentee at least 75 percent were there for marijuana. To the locals, pot is a once in a while thing. Half these coffe shops will close down, and the ones that dont will not sell nearly as much.  | ||

| Always been about money, and power. Seems pretty dumb turning away all those tourist dollars, especially in light what's happening globally now. They're doing this only halfway. Making possession of small amounts legal, but cultivation illegal. As long as any part of it remains illegal the criminal element will be there. Hello? Legalize it and license it. | ||

The Netherlands government is standing right in front of a multi-billion dollar cashflow that is theirs for the taking; (just shut up and do it), and they're whining because all these tens of thousands of tourists keep coming in on the weekend and tying up traffic and buying cannabis from the "crooks" that have the good sense to supply a product that is in demand!! Is that pretty much the deal? AND..., you can use cannabis in the Netherlands but it's against the law to grow it!!! I thought they were cutting edge over there. They haven't got any more sense than the US govt. for christ sake!! I know!! I know!! Who the hell am I?
