So this may not effect a lot of you, or any of you, but I think it can at least be agreed upon that absolutely NOBODY should be denied the right to an education, be it college or grad school, because they have a drug conviction... ...And besides, is keeping drug users out of education really going to help make our system any better? | This is such bull shit! A good friend of mine, was convicted of a drug charge in 1998 while he was attending a University, he lost all financial aid and grants he previously had. Such a shame, because he is a brilliant person who made a mistake. Of course his charge was not minor, he was "trafficking" mj and was set up and sold a 1/4 oz to an under cover. He had a 1/2 oz on him. Now he's deemed a felon, and this guy is one of the most peaceful people you will ever meet.
