I have to throw in my two cents here. I'm actually more supportive of Advanced Nutrients because they're not afraid to say they're creating products that are specifically for medical cannabis. And as such, they are helping the medical marijuana movement. Instead of just hiding behind the idea that they are helping to grow 'tomatoes,' they're taking a stand and showing that they aren't afraid to be out in the open. True, it's going to take time for the government to get on board. And true, there might be less flashy ways to draw attention to the cause, but creating high quality products isn't a lack of action. It is action that is supporting those who do grow medical marijuana legally. Eventually, the rest of the country will get behind them. But, IMHO, someone has to start the war cries, so to speak. If Advanced Nutrients is the only one who has the guts to do it, I say they're cool in my book. And they do have a new site up for medical marijuana information, had you done your homework - Advanced Nutrients Medical Marijuana Cultivation Products. Check that out, and maybe you'll realize they're not just about the buck. (Really, what company isn't about making money?) Probably way more than but it's something I believe in.Last edited by decrimCA; 10-08-2009 at 03:10 PM.. Reason: typo in the website address

Instead of hiding behind lies and basically not admitting to what you do, Advanced Nutrients is on the forefront of the cannabis movement - IMHO. Look, someone has to step up and let others know that it's okay to grow, that MJ isn't hurting anyone and that society is moving toward its legalization. When Advanced Nutrients is out in the open, they're encouraging people to be more open as well. I'm not saying I'm going to post my address here, but I think any movement for change needs to start with a strong voice, one that others can get behind. Some people call it strong marketing (and sure, it doesn't hurt), but I really look at it as a chance to stand up for something we all apparently believe in - even if we don't admit it. I mean, it's sort of hypocritical to say that Advanced Nutrients should keep their opinions to themselves since people are growing and they actually do agree that canna should be legalized. Too many are giving in to fear and into that old boys system that Big Mike talks about. I know I do my part to help the decriminalization movement, but why aren't so many other people doing it too? If you want to grow without being afraid of getting in trouble, you need to speak up. Don't just count on those with bigger voices to do the work for you. Sorry for the rant - something I'm really, really passionate about. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Just because AN says their products are for cannabis, DOES NOT mean they are doing ANYTHING to help cannabis patients/growers/ANYTHING. If he can loose a million dollars in a bet, surely he can donate to a cannabis community. He spends more money paying a douchebag named RAMO than he gives to the cannabis community. He doesnt want to help us. He just wants our money.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | AN may be all open with their products, and like other people have said, if he can make so big of a bet why not donate it. But the big deal is now that everything in the stores is being taken down (supposedly) that means that AN can profit more out of online purchases. No middle man. And think.. if AN can only be shipped out from their own locations, how much easier does that make tracking where they go. Think about it (conspiracy theory coming), AN shows the "support" for MMJ growers and doesn't want to hide behind lies. Big appeal boost. AN gets forced out of stores by the DEA. Now you can only purchase those products online. AN either provides the feds with the shipping list or the feds do a little eyework and match up delivery addresses with AN's return address. Oh shit, your busted. This eyework idea would only work with regular mail postage though, since DHL, UPS, and FedEx are all privately owned, if I'm correct. Time to smoke another bowl

And just recently my local grow store owner has metioned a problem getting certion products. And from what she's telling me here is that it is distributor driven and not DEA. That's what is happening here.
