I think 1. the fertilizer thing was someone thinking of Ammonium Nitrate, which is used in mining operations as an explosive (mix it with fuel oil it becomes ANFO explosive. Nasty stuff, can be set off easily.) OR he was processing/making heroin or ecstasy, which use chemicals that are flammable/explosive.

2. they always hype the explosion/drug connection- people understand the blow-up part, they've all seen a Meth house on the news after it burns.

3. was he thinking? 335 plants? plus 7 kilos of cocaine, and 300 grams of heroin? Damn dude, it's gonna be tough to claim medicinal/personal use.

Greedy bastard. You don't need ALL the drugs, man, just a plant or 2 will suffice. Plus it's a misdemeanor in Illinois for less than 5 plants- which is why I keep it to less than 5.
Sucks maybe, but I'm not going to prison for growing some weed.

I doubt this is just some misguided fool who was getting greedy. When there's a list of drugs like that and 10 guns involved, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some affiliations with bad company involved.

I guess finding 355 marijuana plants is not mj related. Shouldnt this be in the public viewing area most noteably in the news section where non members can view this without coming to a hidden lounge for members only?
Granted there was talk of other drugs, weapons, and cash but MJ was also a focal point of this story and I see this as a form of censorship or insulating stories that could errupt into conversation that moderators might not like to see happen in a public viewing area.
I respectfully request that this article be placed in the news section where comments can abound.
