![]() | IMOP I think the Enviorlight is worth the money. I bought 1 and it puts out 45 Watts and 2700 lumens and the buld life is 10,000 hours and coast $15.00 For $60.00 bucks you could buy 4 and then you would have 180 watts and 12,500 lumens that's plenty for the average person if you want a small grow and dont want to spend a lot on a HPS or MH and hey don't make alot of heat ![]()

![]() ![]() | Update! My grow seems to be doing well. I think the envirolite was a good choice. I am now building a box to hold 4 bonzai mothers and and 2 shallow water clones that will be completely outfitted with envirolites as well as a coco-fiber filter.

![]() ![]() | Hiya dcca! I know they are, however, look back to my first post at the diagram there (or below if I attached the right one!). You will see that they do not have a color spectrum anywhere near the EVL (EVL = envirolites). Infact, the EVL even puts out Ultra Violet colors. They use a new "Specially formulated phosphor that emits light closest to natural sunlight covering the full spectrum range". Ok, I am gonna stop myself or this post will be as long as the first one, lol. Just read the whole thread through, I think you will be impressed by the EVL. mist

![]() ![]() | Cool! Ya know, if I had the room and heat and space were not such a MAJOR issue I would prolly stop experimenting and get both an HPS and an MH. ![]() But I seem to be doing ok according to the more knowledgeable types that inhabit these boards so.... ![]() However! I do invite everyone to check out my grow thread below! ![]()

![]() | mist great job. I've been studying these forums for about a day now trying to plan out my first serious grow, and I think I will be going with the envirolites mostly thx to this thread. My conditions: small size closet, growing a small test 1-3 plants for my first time, with no lights, pots, or anything really to start with yet. I'm going from scratch and if I'm not mistaken, for say 1 plant, I can use an envirolite for each phase of the grow correct? Basically I just want to know if 1 envirolite will be ok for vegging and also flowering | ||

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes it should work for each growth stage, as long as you get the fukk spectrum one.

![]() ![]() | A single plant will thrive under a 95 watt EVL. Thats actully my intentions as well. All the pics you see in my grow thread are being grown with an EVL. I am gonna try for 3 real short bushy plants on my way to a single plant tho, hehe. All I really want is one nice female for this grow, anything more is a bonus! You will want to use a full spectrum for veg and the red spectrum for flowering. You can swap them out or do what I am gonna do, just add it in with the full spectrum at the same time. You get that many more Lumens. mist
