This is on e-bay for a max of $189. Is that a good deal and should I and could I use it for like 4 plants?? Seems like after reading alot of threads that most people use just something like this.. 400w MH for veg. and 400w HPS for flowering. Am I right?? any help or susjustions would be great. If recomended/can I use for 4 plants? Or should I buy 2?(I can spend around $500 right now)

Top-O-the-line external floor ballast system locally would cost ME at least $300.

I don't dig the hanging the ballast from ceiling. But for price, you can't complain. I hope they use top of the line components..and a 5 year warranty like I have on my ballast

I found that hanging the ballast from the roof has two things going for it ,1) it stops the hum transmitting through the ceiling.2) It keeps it a lot cooler.

check on the prices if u have that money to spend u should be looking for a full spectrum light(both MH\MPS) in the same reflector i have a 250/250 one it costed me aound 300 but with that money u can get a more powerful one, the one i have has the 2 bulbs and one ballast for each remote ballast that is u can turn on on the metal halide or the HPS alone if uwish or u can have the two of the at the same time and that is very convenient cause u can just switch to one forr veg and of course for flowering u can turn the two on at the same time fr wonderfull results the ona i have is from northern lights if u do a serach here on the light ull find the address of the page if not PM me and ill give it to you.
