![]() ![]() | No most definately not - The only way that would work - is if you bought tempered glass pieces and High Temperature glue Nice of you to bring that up though - its not a bad idea Just call up a glass repairer or glass specialist and ask if they have Tempered Glass tubes say 6-8inches thick .. if they ask why just say your designing a special lamp This may cost a little but shouldnt be more than $50 - Considering there charging $150-300 for online ones .. this aint too bad That way you KNOW for sure that the glass will not break from heat etc and not to mention you could get the glass customised to what you want

![]() | What about the Metal halide bulbs? like the big ol fatty wide ones? Guess you have to get the thin aquarium ones if you want to use the bread tube for that... ? Maybe I missed it, but nobody uses MH bulbs? The only ones i know that are thin like the HPS bulbs are the high color temp. Iwasaki bulbs, or german... I even have a couple of 5000k Venture 400w MH's and they're bulbous too... guess I'll have to use the 6500k Iwasaki bulb... But D*mn it's vertical (I have a vertical burn only bulb). Solutions anyone? Thanks
