![]() | I made a kool tube out of a large hurricane glass that I found at kmart. might look a little funny, but it does the job very well. I'm using a 240cfm fan and you can feel it draw the heat right out. Still have to leave the closet door open a crack, but i can live with it.

![]() | Living as i do in the quaint United Kingdom, i havent even heard of this bake a round thing - any ideas where i could get an alternative without paying huge postage from the US? Also, how do you attach and seal the light and in/out vents into the tube? Oh, and how do you run a couple of pc vent fans from mains supply? So many questions, and im so new to this diy thing. Thanks guys ![]()

![]() | I used a Hurricane glass, Its made for protecting candles from the wind. I used aluminium foil and foil tape too build it up. The hurricane glass has to be assymetrical. Foil tape makes a good seal as does duct tape. I don't know what is available in UK but I imagine you can find these things at a local store. they are common items. As for the computer fans you just need some 12v power sources. Basically transformers and a diode. Go to you local train hobby shop. You shoud be able to find something you could use there. Just some Ideas for you .I hope these help you good luck on your scavenging hunt!!!

to use this cool tube idea i own a 400w hps if i were to use an exhaust fan hooked directly to one end of the bake around which one should i go with 180,265,465 CFM EXHAUST FAN with 4" hose mount. it will be hooked to the bake a round si i would think a 180 would do just fine since all the heat is in one spot? any feedback would be great? how loud are these fans heres a pic of them...

![]() | Ok, i guess im still in the dark here. Does anyone have a diagram of how to build one of these puppies? I know Knore posted some earlier but the writing was too small to see. All i need to know is...well as much detail as possible really. My diy experience extends to the changing of light bulbs, so any help would be appreciated. Have a 400w hps in a tiny closet and need to get my temp down. Thanks in advance to anyone with the patience to deal with my ignorance. ![]()
