![]() | I thought we were talking about a reflector above the cool tube, I don't think mylar would work at all in this instance. First of all mylar won't hold it's shape, you need something that isn't going to just fall over. Secondly I would never put mylar that close to a light, no matter how good your cooling was... it would melt! Aluminum foil is a good reflector because it's cheap, readily available, requires almost no mechanical skills to build (like sheet metal requires), and holds it's shape. I still think the aluminum foil or aluminum tape inside the cool tube would be a neat idea, I plan on trying that out when I get mine. I don't think aluminum foil would work becaus it has to be sticky, but if you could stick it to one side of the glass it'd be fine. Ocelaris

Hi Him, I am looking at the exact same blower, 265cfm right? Could you please tell me the dimensions of the square outlet and also the round inlet hole on that 265. Looks like 6", but I can't tell. Would be a really big help.. thanks Quote:

![]() | the tube look abit too small for your bulb unless you have a way to add on an extra piece to cover the bulb then your tube will not be as efective.

![]() | Not to blatently disagree, but I think as long as it's going to be sucking a decent amount of air through the tube the little poking out will be ok... I mean, yes, ideally it would be larger, but for 7$ and availability at walmart that seems to be an ideal solution... What wattage bulb is that butterbeen? A 250w might be smaller. I think you can expect 1/2"-3/4" to be added with a mogul socket. Anyone have a good cheap source for mogul sockets? haven't found any at home depot. Alot of electrical supply houses require you to have an account, or business liscense! yikes! Ocelaris
