![]() | I am going to try to set them up so I can get the most space from it, noise really isn't a problem, I will most likely keep the face off the cabinet for most of the time so it should be vented enough, but it's those times where it has to be closed (night) I worry about. I like the idea of two fans though.ok would it be best to set the lights in the four corners or should I put 2 on bottom and 2 on top? or all on top? (hehehe that sounds bad doesn't it? )HG

![]() | HG, keep all the lights on the top... and you'll probably want to run a fan in the cabinet even when the door is open. And BTW, I've done business several times with all electronics (the company i linked to in my last post) and they are great... i'd recommend getting your fans from them. S2, Was it aquarium hobbyist supply?

maybe i got lost in all this confusion of a thread, but the light i have produces almost no heat at all. It is made by LOA but is called a work light, not a spot light, and not a shop light. Like i said it creates almost no heat, i can leave it on all the time with no problems. Are we all talking about the same light or are there different versions? my light uses 65 watts and puts out 8255 lumens. confused, myMUSICveins

![]() | yes, it is the same light... and I dont know how you could not have any problem with heat while everyone else is... how long are you leaving it on? it's not hot right away, but after 30 minutes or so the enclosure heats up quite a bit.

![]() ![]() | i left it on for 2 days on a row before i had a problem and it fell on my plant and the weight broke the mian stem, very unhappy about that...anywayz, havnt used it since, but like i said, 2 days in a row, no problems, on all the time. minor heat build up on the back of the light, but nothing at all to cause any sort of damage, just a tad warm. myMUSICveins

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | nuthen beats a good old fashion 70w HPS.. u know its gonna be hot, and you know its gonna put out.. good buds that is It sounds to me like the LOA worklamp, spotlight, or whatever its called isnt really ready to be used by the MJ community.. if i had one of these lights i would definitly take it appart and do a little experimenting, and build my own setup for it.. out of metal instead of plastic or somethin.. put a reflector on it, and some killa fans.. kinda like how i used remote ballasting for my HPS peace Last edited by Lizzie Borden : 01-21-2003 at 06:59 PM.

Its from WAL- MART, when u go to your local Grow store do they sell them? When u get your new high times, Is Ed Rosenthal Bragging about it. At the Cannabis cup awards..are all the growers raving about this light..when Hell freezes over and George .W Bush Starts Doing blow again is the Day u can say this light even compares..at any cost to MH or HPS. I think its called marketing and anyone who bought one was a victim of wording by some non bud burning, Yahoo, fresh out of Collage, looking to..and making money on WORDING , no offense but that's sales for u..take that recipet and return it for a floro if ya cant afford MH or Hps

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | colafornia, Let me tell you! I am usually one to debunk hairbrained schemes and products that are long on marketing but short on results. Ask anyone, I have rained on a few parades. I have not been able to dismiss the FluoreX lamp yet. Certainly it has some bugs and shortcomings but I think it has the potential to be a valuable tool in the small growers arsenal. The fact we haven't seen it marketed by High Times or the local Hydro shop indicates to me that we may be cutting edge here! Thru the course of this thread, I have seen many users share their observations and solutions in a truly inspiring feat of colaborative engineering! High Times & LOA take note! There may be a significant market for an improved version of this product! colafornia, Do you own one? Have you used one? What were your results? Harrad
