I have this light http://www.hempcultivation.com/420/a...p?postid=58971 I have been having problems with it. I have 2 of them. One gives me no problems but the other one always turns off when i have it in my grow room. When its outside the growroom it works fine. Its is very odd. I was wondering if this could be caused by heat or something? In my thread on visual inspirations it shows my setup and gives some more info on my problem.

it be because your using too much electricity in your grow room and the circuit can't handle the extra light.. but then again a fuse would have blow or a circuit breaker would have tripped if that was the reason. Sorry I cant look into it further right now but i gotta head for work now! later ![]()

In both cases its plugged into the power strip that the other floro light is in. The strange thing is that if i hold it outside the room or put it on the carpet it works but when it gets in that room it just won't stay on.

return it for another one.. I looked at those too and I figured it was too bulky for the space I needed it for.. I plan to have a vent like it was shown in High Times for the grow cubicle,, but am thinking I might need more, I am not sure how hot these will get yet.. now can I use that much light to clone with? HG

I remember when I first got mine...I think they can come with a sensor. Maybe somehow you got one with & one w/o the sensor. If it does have it, just put a piece elec. tape over it. If not..try rewiring it.If that doesnt wwork..heed hempgirls advice $.02 Hempster ![]() All you had to do was cut an appropriate rectangle in the top and set it up there.Raising the plants to the light..lowering as needed. That way your whole interior could be devoted to grow space. the only possibility of burn being from above. Or isnt that slealthy enough? another $.02 now I'm broke ![]()

![]() | I may need to do it that way, but I thought the light would leak from the hole? it will be sleeping next to me so I want little light coming out if possible. man that's bad when you have to start sleeping with your plants I will try my best to keep all the grow space, but.... can I use it as a clone chamber even though there is allot of light? thanks Xz!!

Cut a square hole near the top of the interior and srew a small 3" (110-120mm) "computer" fan over the whole. Remember that these use only 6v or 12v, so you need to get youre hands on a small transformer to supply it with power... its also a good idea to either cut a hole near the bottom or drill a bunch of holes to allow air to flow in, replacing what was blown out.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | GRR wicked stop repeating my posts damnit!! HG-wherever you put the fan, attach a tube or a box or something that curves 180 degrees. This will allow for airflow, but no light leakage.. paint the inside of the box/tube black so nothin is reflected out. check out the monolith it uses the same style for its venting. peace

in my opinion, the monolith is a piece of crap... at least the way that guy built it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | wicked.. instead of being so negative all the time, why dont you suggest some positive enhancements you would put on the monolith.. maybe drop a few hints of things you mighta improved on, things you woulda changed or made better?? come on man, be a little kinder.. i mean we are overgrowing the government here, not undermining our own kind!! The monolith has some good ideas.. and the venting that it has is great.. i would put the intake fan closer to the bottom, and put the exhaust fan closer to the top. And the monolith is always a good base idea for anyone thinking of making a compact grow. peace, i love you wicked.
