Hey there,
Im looking at trying a 1k hps in my panda lined alloy tube frame that measures 4x8x6 ft tall. I usually run my 600 in my mylar tent with my temps kept under control with large intake & exhaust fans on a thermostat.
So what kind of heat does a 1k put out compared to the 600 ?
Could I get away with using a small shade with the 1k in my mylar lined 4sq ft area or is the aircooled hood the better option ?
Any info on aircooled 1k temps etc. would be appreciated.
Also just a quick Q on light movers, if I decided to fill the whole 8x4 area, could I get the same results with a 1k and a mover as I would if I used 2 1k's in the same area ?
